This position offers the opportunity to provide exceptional patient care while mentoring and training residents and medical students in obstetrics and gynecology in a dynamic, academic clinical environment. Whether your clinical interest is laborist-only, ambulatory-only, or a combination of both, including scholarly pursuits, we can customize a position to you. Weekday 24-hour laborist shifts have 24-post-call time off, and weekend 24-hour shifts offer an additional day off, so you don't lose your weekend. Ambulatory shifts can be both as a resident-preceptor or as the primary physician seeing patients on your own. We offer a competitive salary and the University of Illinois System provides generous paid leave, enrollment in the State University Retirement System pension, including malpractice coverage.
