The Division of Academic General Pediatrics at the Children's Hospital at Montefiore (CHAM) is seeking a full-time Child Abuse Pediatrician to join our Child Abuse Pediatrics Program. Our highly experienced team includes a child abuse pediatrician, nurse practitioners, behavioral health clinicians including social workers and psychologists and administrative staff. The team protects children and promotes healthy families through excellence in evaluation, treatment and prevention of child physical and sexual abuse and other forms of child trauma at the hospital-based JE and ZB Butler Center for Children and Families and the Bronx Child Advocacy Center. The Bronx CAC is a National Children's Alliance accredited co-located Child Advocacy Center located about 3 miles from the children's hospital and 1 miles from the Bronx courthouse complex. Responsibilities include providing comprehensive medical evaluations and consultations for children and adolescents, teaching of residents and medical students and participation in quality/performance improvement initiatives. We are looking for candidates who are board certified/board eligible in Child Abuse Pediatrics, possess outstanding clinical skills, and have experience in medical education. The successful candidate will receive an academic appointment at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine. Academic rank will be commensurate with experience.

About the Children's Hospital at Montefiore (CHAM) CHAM is a 192-bed nationally renowned academic children's hospital providing inpatient, ambulatory, and emergency care for children and adolescents. CHAM is the pediatric hospital of the Albert Einstein College of Medicine and is part of the Montefiore Health System spanning the Bronx and Westchester counties in New York.

About the Division of Academic General Pediatrics The Division of Academic General Pediatrics consists of attending physicians, nurse practitioners, PhD social scientists, psychologists, social workers and administrative staff. Our clinical practice sites are NCQA patient centered medical homes with integrated mental health services. Our practices are the primary teaching sites for residents in our pediatric residency program and include a federally qualified health center. Division faculty are actively engaged in medical education, quality improvement and research.

In addition to a competitive salary of $200,000-275,000 commensurate with academic rank, we offer the opportunity to enhance compensation with clinical productivity incentives and bonuses. We offer a generous benefits package including 403b with employer match, 457, tuition reimbursement, long term disability, short term disability, life insurance, paid malpractice, health, dental and vision benefits, and funds for CME activities.
