SkillBridge Program Internship for Service Members

MTSI is looking to bring on a SkillBridge Fellow in Dayton, OH. The MTSI SkillBridge Program Fellowship offers Service members a unique opportunity to acquire valuable civilian work experience and qualifications through a structured internship during their final 180 days of service. This program provides Service members with an invaluable chance to gain hands-on experience in either Program Management, Cybersecurity, Systems Engineering, or Digital Engineering. For MTSI, SkillBridge serves as a gateway to tap into the world's most highly trained and motivated workforce. Service members who participate in SkillBridge continue to receive their military compensation and benefits, while industry partners offer training and practical work experience. Participation in SkillBridge is contingent on mission requirements, and approval from your unit Commander is necessary before entering into any agreement.

• Develop program management, systems engineering or cyber security qualifications through education via Defense Acquisition University and customized MTSI training. The capstone event for this training is a professional certification (PMP from PMI, ASEP from INCOSE or CISSP from ISC).
• Experience one-on-one interviews with representatives from program functional staffs centered around responsibility overviews and key challenges.
• Attend weekly mentoring conversations with supervisor centered around education, professional engagements, supervision and functional staff.
• Gain hands-on experience on an MTSI innovation or commercial cyber security project.

1 year leadership in relevant field

• Demonstrated analytical, communication and personable skills
