Position Summary

Reporting to the Assistant Director, Central Dental Laboratory and Implant Management, the Dental Laboratory Administrator manages daily activities in the College of Dentistry's Dental Laboratory, including quality control, ensure adherence to standards and practices to maximize safety and operational effectiveness. The Dental Laboratory Administrator will set and monitor production goals and develop/analyze metrics for leadership to assess laboratory effectiveness; instruct and collaborate with providers (student and faculty) on techniques, protocols, and esthetics; and effectively manage dental laboratory cases.



Qualifications

Required Education:
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent

Required Experience:
3+ years experience in laboratory management and/or digital dentistry

Required Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:
Knowledge of dental procedures, dental prescription interpretation and an understanding of laboratory equipment. Excellent interpersonal, analytical, and problem solving skills. Ability to effectively communicate, develop, implement and interpret policies and procedures.



Additional Information

In compliance with NYC's Pay Transparency Act, the annual base salary range for this position is $70,000 - $79,200. New York University considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/training, key skills, internal peer equity, as well as market and organizational considerations when extending an offer.
