Responsibilities

Located on a 27-acre wooded campus, Fairmount Behavioral Health System is a peaceful, therapeutic environment for patients and families. Fairmount is a major regional resource for children, adolescents and adults who have psychiatric and behavioral problems as well as alcohol and drug dependency needs. The spacious campus borders Fairmount Park in the Roxborough section of Philadelphia. With one of the leading alcohol and drug detox and rehab programs in Philadelphia, Fairmount is the provider of choice for individuals requiring specialized co-occurring psychiatric and chemical dependency treatment. We are currently seeking a part-time Dietary Aide to join our team.

JOB SUMMARY:

The Dietary Aide prepares food and dessert items and serves meals to patients, staff, and visitors in a courteous manner with consideration to dietary needs. The Dietary Aide maintains assigned areas in a clean, orderly and attractive condition providing a suitable environment for patients and staff in accordance with established policies and procedures and in a manner consistent with the philosophy and objectives of Fairmount Behavioral Health System.

Qualifications

Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.

Experience: Prefer food service experience preferably in a hospital, health care or hospitality setting.

Licensure/Certification: ServSafe certification preferred.

Knowledge: Prefer knowledge of basic math, equipment usage, cleaning products, safety, and infection control practices.

Additional Requirements:

* Employment law knowledge essential.

* Must be able to handle sensitive material and maintain confidentiality at all times.

* Ability to occasionally work flexible or extra hours, including some weekends as needed.
* Familiarity with recruitment techniques in healthcare, HR database software, benefits administration, specific knowledge of the day-to-day operations of an HR department.

* Strong computer skills and technical capabilities,mincluding Microsoft Office, HRMS (e.g., Lawson), ATS (e.g., iCIMS), & Onboarding programs (e.g., Cisive)
* Able to manage multiple priorities, think tactically and strategically, demonstrate objectivity, be results-oriented, and show initiative and creativity.
* Must be flexible, work well under pressure, and have ability to readily adapt to change.

* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
