Overview

Will represent the products/services of UnityPoint Health - Cedar Rapids Work Well Solutions programs; serve existing clients and seek new clients in the surrounding market in such a manner as to ensure continued market penetration and profitability. Responsible for the design, development, and implementation of a comprehensive sales initiative for the Work Well Solutions programs and services to include cold calls, marketing mailings, exhibiting, special events, and more. Coordinates all sales and marketing activities associated with the delivery of services to clients. Supports account development and maintenance through education to new and existing employees, trade shows and communication methodologies. Works collaboratively with the Manager of Work Well Solutions to provide efficient customer service and problem resolution to ensure clients and patients receive the highest level of care and service possible.

Responsibilities

Marketing- Sales Initiatives:

  • Coordinate and manage all marketing / sales activities for the Work Well Solutions programs and services.
  • Specify potential contacts, targeted employers and related schedules for client meetings and sales presentations.
  • Conduct on-site meetings with employers for the promotion, marketing, and sales of Work Well Solutions services and products.
  • Conduct cold calls and follow up calls to potential businesses in order to establish a relationship and possible increase in business.
  • Establish quarterly service meetings and semi-annual review sessions with clients at their request, including attendance at business coalitions and industry councils as requested and/or appropriate.
  • Develop and maintain liaison activities with community organizations for the purpose of networking and marketing the programs and services of Work Well Solutions.
  • Develop and conduct occupational health or wellness related training, seminars, and presentations for clients and other potential business/industry decision-makers.
  • Prepare, develop, and deliver sales projections, promotional materials, displays, presentations, reports, and statistical / data analyses as requested.
  • Develop business, marketing, and sales plans as requested.
  • Monitor quality assessment associated with marketing / sales activities and report results to the appropriate departments and staff involved.

Marketing- Sales Reporting

    • Work cooperatively with Manager of Work Well Solutions and the Work Well Solutions team to foster and promote our programs to other UnityPoint Cedar Rapids departments, case managers, specialist referral practice groups and outside organizations to promote the full scope of Work Well Solutions programs and services.
    • Assess and communicate proposed new product lines and/or service opportunities.

*Work collaboratively with Manager of Work Well Solutions on customer satisfaction survey feedback. Work with staff as appropriate to address concerns and rectify client service issues.

*Prepare written updates summarizing monthly marketing / sales activities and contacts made, forwarding this information to designated recipients.

    • Balance team and individual responsibilities; be open and objective to other's views; give and welcome feedback; contribute to team goals; put success of team above own interest.
    • Demonstrate initiative to consistently improve quality and customer service.
    • Work closely with Work Well Leadership Team and Marketing departments as requested.
    • Perform other functions as directed by Director and Manager of Work Well Solutions.
    • Integrate and demonstrate FOCUS values and Expectations for Personal and Service Excellence to guide professional behaviors, while adhering to the policies and procedures of Work Well Solutions.
    • Demonstrate the ability to meet the department work schedule.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Health Care Administration, Nursing or related field is required.
  • Minimum of three to five years experience in business/occupational health related setting, with sales/marketing of healthcare services is preferred.
  • Must possess knowledge of healthcare and hospital services to strategically promote services.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to assess customer/client needs are essential.
  • Must have sound organizational, verbal and time management skills.
  • Must have the ability to effectively lead, facilitate and collaborate with diverse individuals and/or groups to develop market strategies.
  • Must have the ability to effectively direct the development and implementation of market strategies and tactics (coordinate marketing resources).
  • Must have the ability to organize and manage multiple projects with changing priorities.
  • Excellent personal and written communication skills.
  • Must be proficient in the use of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, graphic design products or other common office/word processing software packages.
