We are seeking candidates with strong teaching credentials who can contribute to our undergraduate program in the following areas: Winter 2025: Upper-division Lecture Course on the History of Asia Potential course numbers for topics-vary upper-division Asian History courses are listed below, individual course descriptions can be found at [https://catalogue.uci.edu/schoolofhumanities/departmentofhistory/] Please indicate the specific course topic you would like to offer in your Sample Syllabus.
Spring 2025: History 70A: Problems in History: Asia (Topics Vary) An introduction to the historical problems, the issues of interpretation, the primary sources, and the historical scholarship of the history of Asia, with an emphasis on developing skills in historical essay-writing.
