We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Behavioral Health Trainer to join our team. The Behavioral Health Trainer will play a key role in ensuring the effective training and implementation of evidence-based practices within our organization, with a focus on fidelity to program models and adherence to best practices. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mental health and/or substance use services, experience with fidelity monitoring, and a commitment to promoting high-quality care for individuals with mental health and/or substance use needs. WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING (ESSENTIAL DUTIES)... Collaborate with program managers, supervisors, and frontline staff to assess fidelity to evidence-based practices and identify areas for improvement. Provide training and ongoing support to staff members to enhance their understanding of program models, interventions, and best practices. Conduct fidelity assessments and observations to monitor adherence to program protocols and identify areas for intervention. Develop and implement strategies to address fidelity challenges and promote fidelity to program models. Provide coaching and feedback to staff members to enhance their skills and competencies in delivering evidence-based interventions. Collaborate with program leadership to develop and implement fidelity monitoring tools, data collection procedures, and quality improvement initiatives. Maintain accurate records of fidelity assessments, coaching sessions, and program outcomes. Stay informed about emerging research, trends, and developments in the field of evidence-based practices and fidelity monitoring. Participate in meetings, trainings, and conferences to share knowledge and expertise with colleagues and stakeholders. Uphold the mission, values, and ethical standards of Newport Mental Health in all interactions and activities. WHAT WE EXPECT OF YOU... Master's degree in social work, counseling, psychology, or a related field OR Registered Nurse Licensure or certification as a mental health professional (e.g., LCSW, LPC, LMFT) preferred. Minimum of 5 years of experience working in a mental health setting, with a strong understanding of evidence-based practices and fidelity monitoring. Experience providing coaching, training, and support to staff members preferred. Strong knowledge of evidence-based interventions and treatment modalities for individuals with mental health and/or substance use needs. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills. Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team. Commitment to cultural competence, diversity, equity, and inclusion in all aspects of work. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and electronic health record systems. Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards in accordance with professional codes of conduct. Must demonstrate competencies and experience with adult and children's evidence-based practices for serious emotional disorders, and adults with serious mental illness, substance use, and co-occurring disorders.
