The research lab is seeking a qualified candidate to engineer a new imaging platform for bioluminescent detection and develop Python-based code for phasor spectral emission detection. The Digman lab collaborates with Jennifer Prescher in the Department of Chemistry at UCI on a joint research project to develop imaging approaches to track cell behaviors in tissue and whole organisms, including engineering new bioluminescence reporters, bioluminescence imaging, and phasor analysis for bioluminescence data. A successful candidate will work closely with members of a collaborative interdisciplinary team and enthusiastic mentors. Requirements: Applicants must have a Ph.D. degree in optics, biophysics, biophotonics, biomedical engineering, or related areas as well as computational imaging analysis. Note: Total duration of an individual's postdoctoral service may not exceed five years, including postdoctoral service at other institutions.
