About the Opportunity/Position Highlights AH-Mercy has a lot to offer as Atrium's Musculoskeletal Institute (MSKI). Total Joint replacements and sports medicine are a large focus but additionally, cases include, General, a Bariatric Center of excellence, vascular, spine, urology and NORA (non-OR anesthesia). Same day procedures on peds 8 years and up. Shift opportunities offer a wide variety including days, afternoons, overnight call, with possibilities of 8, 10, 12, 24-hour options. Weekend and holidays are emergent/urgent cases only. Mercy's CRNAs are the airway team that answer all Code Blues and assist with A-line insertion overnight in the ICU. AH-Mercy is a Planetree Facility. Opportunity to participate in committees, teaching opportunities available for varied allied health care learners as well as SRNAs from the CMC/UNCC Nurse Anesthesia Program & the University of Wake Forest School of Nurse Anesthesia. Graduate of an accredited School of Nurse Anesthesia required. CRNA licensure required. Manages14,000 OR casesand3,000 NORA casesper year. Heavy in orthopedics, but also has general, bariatrics, urology, neuro & ortho-spine, and vascular.
