Salary range:
The salary range for this position is $64,480-$77,327. The posted UC salary scales set the minimum pay determined by rank and step at appointment. See Table [https://sites.uci.edu/academicpersonnel/files/2023/02/postdoc-v2.pdf] Application Window Open date: July 3, 2024 Most recent review date: Monday, Sep 30, 2024 at 11:59pm (Pacific Time) Final date: Monday, Jun 30, 2025 at 11:59pm (Pacific Time) Position description The Beckman Laser Institute at the University of California, Irvine anticipates openings for postdoctoral scholar positions (Levels 0-IV) for the 2024-25 academic year. Candidate should possess the ability to work in an interdisciplinary team setting. Experience in molecular biology and cell culture is also desirable. Biomedical photonics/optoelectronics These positions require a Ph.D. in biomedical engineering, electrical or optical engineering, chemical engineering, mechanical engineering, physics, chemistry, or biology and experience in the field / research areas listed above. Alternatively, candidates can have an M.D. or the foreign equivalent. This is an ongoing recruitment and positions are dependent upon the availability of extramural funding. Initial appointments are for two years and renewal is based on job performance and availability of support. Note: Total duration of an individual's postdoctoral service may not exceed five years, including postdoctoral service at other institutions. Salary is commensurate with qualifications and years of experience.
