Compensation: $52,000 - $55,000 Regular, Full-Time, Non-Exempt Location: Manhattan, Kansas (onsite) - This position is not eligible for remote or hybrid work environments What we offer:

A day in the life of a Project Manager Specialist (or Strategic Solicitations Specialist) could be: Project Management
- Oversee and manage assigned projects in various stages of execution to generate fundraising activity.
- Collaborate with colleagues and campus partners to orchestrate solicitation campaigns across a spectrum of channels, including direct mail, email and social media.
- Serve as the point of contact for campus partners, consulting on social media fundraising strategy, building online giving forms, and collaborating on donor engagement opportunities. Educate campus partners on effective best practices in annual fundraising and donor development, consulting on project expectations and deadlines.
- Strive for excellence in relationship building and solicitation execution for the purpose of raising immediate use funds for campus partners and developing major gift leads for the future of philanthropy at K-State.
Writing
- Develop persuasive writing content for fundraising initiatives, primarily in the digital realm of email, online giving and crowdfunding. Partner with teammates to review and enhance projects before execution.
Customer Service
- Provide exceptional customer service to internal and external stakeholders including colleagues, donors, clients, and campus partners. Combine your ability to lead others, organizational skills, and positive personality to ensure projects are completed successfully and on time.
Requirements
- 2+ years full-time experience in an office focused on providing excellent customer service
- Proficient use of Microsoft Office suite
- Proven experience in project management, with the ability to actively listen and translate others' needs into actionable strategies, prioritize projects to successful completion
- Demonstrated intermediate-level experience in creative and persuasive writing, with the ability to craft engaging and compelling content tailored to diverse audiences, and a willingness to build upon and further develop these skills.
- Communicate effectively and persuasively with a variety of stakeholders
