Plante Moran Realpoint (PMR), an affiliated entity of Plante & Moran, PLLC (PM), provides fully integrated Program Management/Owners Representation and Real Estate Services exclusively to corporations and institutional organizations.
We are seeking an experienced, dynamic individual with exceptional interpersonal skills to perform as a senior project manager overseeing either a large-scale infrastructure program or multiple smaller programs of varying scope and scale. This role requires the ability to work with a diverse client base and requires effective communications and technical skills with the ability to educate a client about program progress, opportunities, and risks to drive appropriate timely program decisions.
Your role.
Your work will include, but not be limited to:
  • Provide program leadership working with existing clients.
  • Participate in preparing and submitting proposals for new work.
  • Develop, distribute, and coordinate RFQ's and RFPs for professional services and constructors.
  • Responsible for monitoring and leading multiple projects of varying scope and scale simultaneously to ensure budgetary, scheduling, and regulatory requirements are achieved.
  • Advise on program risk and risk mitigation strategies.
  • Advise on best practices and industry standards for contracting methodologies, program scheduling, program management, project management information systems, regulatory compliance, and project delivery.
  • Advise on issue resolution that aligns with stated project objectives.
  • Attend and participate in meetings with the Client, Engineer, Constructors, and other professional service firms.
  • Prepare and make presentations to Clients regarding all facets of program status.
  • Work within an internal team to ensure implementation and compliance of P&M and PMR policies and procedures on projects.
  • May require oversight and management of junior staff.
The qualifications.
  • Engineering Degree, Architecture Degree or Construction Management Degree from an accredited college or university.
  • 15 plus years of infrastructure sector experience including but not limited to project management, engineering planning, or program planning.
  • Broad technical background in one or more of the following areas: Power/Energy, Water/Wastewater, and Transportation, as well as familiarity with EPA and state environmental requirements and standards
  • Program Cost budgeting and/or scheduling experience is desirable.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Microsoft Project, and/or Primavera Scheduling Software. Familiarity with BIM and Visio is desirable.
  • Qualified individuals must either reside in or near Metro Detroit or Cincinnati or be willing to relocate for this opportunity.
  • Frequent travel throughout the region may be necessary, with approximately 20-50% overnight travel.

Colorado Equal Pay for Equal Work Act (SB 19-085) Information

Compensation is commensurate with technical skills and experience and is provided in accordance with the CO Equal Pay for Equal Work Act.

Compensation information posted is based on a position being located in the state of CO. Please review position location for applicable geographic location.

Colorado monthly base range is as follows:

$11,666.67 to $14,583.33

Highlights include health, dental, vision, disability and life insurance. These standard offerings are effective on the first of the month following your start date. In addition to this, eligible staff are able to take advantage of our Flexible Time Off and various pre-determined holidays as well as a balance fund, 401(k) plan, flexible benefits plans, business-related travel expense, lodging and meal reimbursement for business-related use. A Pension plan is also available for eligible administrative and paraprofessional staff. A discretionary bonus plan is available for eligible staff. Plante Moran also offers Interns and Contractors the option to elect health insurance under our contingent staff medical plan as of the 1st of the month following 60 days of employment in addition to limited paid time sick time. Seasonal staff are not eligible for benefits.
