Job Objective: As the Janitor/Driver you will provide cleaning and driving services for the corps; to assist with receiving shipments of supplies; to provide outside maintenance. The Janitor/Driver performs routine and general cleaning, picks up and helps unload donations, assists with seasonal driving, maintaining assigned area(s) to meet staff, clients, and customer satisfaction...ensuring that the Mission of The Salvation Army is effectively carried out. Minimum Qualifications: The requirements listed below are representative of the minimal education, experience, skills, and/or abilities required for this position.
Education: High School Diploma Required Background Checks: Position requires a background check to be completed. Findings may disqualify an individual for this position. Experience: Janitorial experience (preferred); experience driving a pick-up truck/trailer combo, including backing (preferred) Certifications: Must have a valid driver's license and maintain The Salvation Army Driver's qualification standard; must complete Safe From Harm training within the first 90 days of employment. Travel: As needed, must have a valid Driver's License Working Conditions: Work is performed in an office, church, outside environment; may require some evenings and weekends, as needed.
