Position Overview

ISPA Technology LLC is seeking a motivated Software Engineer to support the development, integration, and maintenance of software solutions for a naval program onsite at NSWC Panama City Beach. The ideal candidate will have strong programming experience in C++, Python, and shell scripting within Linux environments, along with the ability to work across both Linux and Windows platforms.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, test, and maintain software applications using C++ and Python.
Develop and maintain shell scripts to automate processes and improve system functionality within Linux environments.
Support software development, integration, debugging, and troubleshooting across Linux and Windows operating systems.
Collaborate with engineering teams to identify software requirements, resolve technical challenges, and implement solutions.
Maintain and enhance existing software applications to improve performance, reliability, and functionality.
Participate in software testing, documentation, and configuration management activities.

Required Qualifications

Experience developing software using C++ and Python.
Proficiency in Linux shell scripting and working within Linux operating environments.
Experience working with Windows operating systems.
Strong troubleshooting, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a technical team environment.
Must be a U.S. citizen and able to obtain and maintain a DoD security clearance.

Preferred Qualifications

Hands-on experience with Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) 8 and RHEL 9.
Active DoD security clearance.
Experience supporting software development in DoD or government contracting environments.
Familiarity with software integration, testing, and version control tools.
