Job Description
Must Have Technical/Functional Skills Playwright automation framework, Python, AI-assisted development tools ( GitHub, Copilot), Pytest, Python-based testing framework, CI/CD Pipelines, Agile/scrum , UFT/Selenium Roles & Responsibilities Responsible for * Building and maintaining robust Playwright-based automation frameworks * Developing automated test scripts in Python * Integrating solutions into CI/CD pipelines using modern tooling within Visual studio code * Drive test automation adoption and maturity * Improve framework performance and reliability * Reduce manual effort through automation and AI-assisted development * Enable regression and in-sprint testing Required Skills: * 7+ years of software testing experience with strong focus on automation * 7+ years of hands-on automation development experience * Strong experience with Playwright automation framework * Hands-on coding experience in Python for test automation * Experience using Visual studio code (VD Code) as primary IDE * Experience with Playwright CLI / Command-line driven test execution * Proven experience building and maintaining automation frameworks (Modular, reusable, scalable) * Solid understanding of API Testing and UI automation strategies * Experience in PyTest or similar python based testing frameworks * Experience in CI/CD pipelines and integrating automation into build workflows * Experience in AI-assisted development tools (Github, Copilot) * Experience in in-sprint automation strategies. * Familiarity with cross-browser and cross-platform testing approaches * Deep understanding of SDLC and QA lifecycle (Testing planning, Test design, Execution, Defect tracking and reporting) * Domain Knowledge of banking / financial systems.
