Your Job Georgia-Pacific is seeking a Supply Chain Optimization Analyst to join our Integrated Business Planning organization supporting Structural Panels - Plywood and OSB. Our network linear programming (LP) optimization models are core to how we operate and how we fulfill customer demand each week. In this role, you will own the weekly modeling cycle: preparing data, running the models, resolving issues, and delivering outputs that planners use to make decisions. This is an operational role with a recurring weekly cadence. You will partner primarily with supply planners and demand planners, and you will report directly to the Director of Production Planning. You will also manage a suite of standardized reporting that helps business leaders understand business operations and market dynamics. This is an entry-level opportunity and a strong introduction to the business at a fundamental level - how our network operates, what drives our results, and how decisions get made. It also provides regular exposure to business leaders. Deep manufacturing, supply chain, or optimization expertise is not expected on day one; curiosity and a willingness to learn are essential. Our Team Georgia-Pacific's building product business has consistently been among the nation's top suppliers of building products to building materials dealers and large warehouse retailers.
