Thank you for your interest in Munich Re!

What is it like working on our Actuarial Teams?
Munich Re Life US' actuarial teams work cross-functionally on real industry problems to deliver high-quality solutions for both internal and external clients. As a valued team member, you'll be called upon for your insights while receiving ongoing support and training to help position you as a future leader in the actuarial field and the life reinsurance industry. While still embracing a hybrid working model, we have seen first-hand the significant value of in-person collaboration and the vital role of social interaction. Time spent in the office with colleagues is an important element of our culture, making meaningful moments a driver of our success.

Actuarial Associate
You will join one of our teams working alongside our actuaries to support assigned projects or workstreams. As you learn the business and help deliver solutions for your designated functional area, you will have the opportunity to present your work to business leaders. You will also be offered generous study time to actively pursue actuarial exams towards ASA/FSA credentials.

Actuary

As a senior resource on a team, you will lead an assigned project or workstream. You will peer-review the work of your colleagues and junior associates, while mentoring students, coops, and interns. You will actively present solutions to senior leaders and work on challenging cross-functional projects.

Actuarial Leader (Director and above)

You will lead a department function and a team of actuarial associates and actuaries. You will be responsible for allocating work and resources to the team and will interact with senior leaders and multiple stakeholders, either internal or external, or clients.

What you can expect as a Munich Re employee:

Why we want to talk to you:
