Job Objective: The Program Assistant On Duty ensures the safety, integrity, and smooth operation of the rehabilitation program during assigned shifts. The program assistant on duty maintains adherence to ARC program standards, ensures beneficiary accountability, oversees facility operations, and supports the continuity of program services outside of standard business hours. Program Integrity & Safety -Maintain safety, security, and order throughout the center during assigned shift. -Enforce standardized House Rules and ensure alignment with ARC Command Program Standards as outlined in the ARC Command Program Manual and the ARC Beneficiary Handbook. -Conduct facility rounds and complete required building walk-throughs. -Respond to emergencies and incidents according to policy; submit required incident reports, including Safe from Harm and Chesterfield documentation. -Monitor beneficiary movement, curfew compliance, and approved pass schedules. Beneficiary Support & Engagement -Conduct residence and program orientation for new beneficiaries, including facility tour and review of emergency/evacuation procedures. -Support beneficiaries in Orientation with the initial navigation of Atlas access. -Lead weekly House Meetings and communicate updates, expectations, and program reminders. -Address beneficiary questions and concerns and refer individuals to DRS/DRO/Spiritual Counselor as appropriate. -Assess and document beneficiary spiritual needs and refer to Administrator or Spiritual Counselor when needed. Program Operations -Participate as a member of the intake team, in absence or in addition to the Intake Coordinator with the ability to complete a full ARC Program Assessment and Intake Process. -Oversee medication call procedures, ensuring accurate logging and compliance with ARC medication policies. -Conduct bed checks at designated times, documenting completion. -Administer breathalyzer or urinalysis tests as required. -Supervise beneficiaries assigned to work therapy roles such as front desk or janitorial; provide task instruction and monitor completion. -Provide safe transportation for beneficiaries when assigned, following all TSA vehicle and safety guidelines. -Support leisure-time or recreational program activities as directed. Administrative & Reporting Responsibilities -Complete accurate daily reports and electronic data entries, including beneficiary admissions, departures, services, and noteworthy shift events. -Report and document all policy violations in a timely manner. -Participate in required in-service trainings, Safe from Harm, and professional development activities.
