Position Description:
Lead and direct project managers to drive success of Market Segment Group (MSG) Healthcare projects from planning through to implementation. Oversee project financials and operations, and lead business development opportunities for expansion of MSG Healthcare.

Essential Duties & Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain long-lasting relationships with Market Segment Group (MSG) Healthcare external stakeholders fostering trusted advisor status, including clients and design community, to enhance future business development opportunities.
  • Lead growth of MSG Healthcare in collaboration with Business Development (BD) on sales pursuits, including participation in engagement process, reviews of RFPs, and staff resources required to meet deliverables, sales presentations and client interviews.
  • Facilitate effective communication, collaboration, and alignment of project teams to support projects.
  • Guide project teams and stakeholders to adopt Turner's business ethics and compliance programs.
  • Utilize project data to analyze and develop strategic initiatives to improve processes and profitability.
  • Identify opportunities to collaborate with Turner-entities and resources to optimize project operations and increase MSG Healthcare service offerings and capabilities.
  • Provide leadership to develop high performing teams, foster supportive environment of diversity and inclusion, and promote Active Caring philosophy with teams, subcontractors, and clients for all to demonstrate the highest standards of care of each other.
  • Provide leadership in risk evaluation, contract negotiations, fee, and pricing decisions across Healthcare projects.
  • Provide oversight for budget and financial management across MSG Healthcare projects.
  • Engage and contribute to regularly scheduled Operations Review Meetings (ORMs) to identify and propose solutions project risks and opportunities.
  • Lead Healthcare MSG initiatives for continuous process improvement to improve quality assurance and create standardization for team processes and procedures for consistency of deliverables.
  • Guide project teams to adopt knowledge, best practices, and apply trends in healthcare design, construction, operations, workflows, and equipment and activation planning that may impact current and future projects.
  • Proactively build trust and relationships among business unit leadership to expand opportunities and provide value to healthcare clients and projects.
  • Collaborate with Marketing to develop materials and communications to promote MSG Healthcare services.
  • May be required to perform project management duties and responsibilities for MSG Healthcare projects.
  • Lead and collaborate with Operations, local Human Resources, and HQ Employee Relations to swiftly address staff and project matters related to Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DE&I) and any other staff or project sensitive situation.
  • In collaboration with leadership and Human Resources, identify workforce planning needs for employee assignments, participate in recruiting, new hire onboarding, and career progression and succession planning activities for sustained staffing pipeline that meets project forecasted requirements and results in retention:
    • Evaluate qualifications and capabilities of employees and determine developmental activities to increase employees' leadership and business acumen.
    • Manage and follow employee developmental progress throughout project assignments.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree from accredited degree program in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field of study, with minimum of 15 years of related experience, or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
  • Broad scope and various complexity of construction project experience with progressive responsibility
  • Maintain knowledge of healthcare design and construction market opportunities, trends, and key market relationships
  • Adept at establishing and maintaining relationships to secure business opportunities that lead to new work
  • Advanced knowledge of Healthcare medical equipment costs, scheduling, estimating, purchasing, engineering principles and techniques, and understanding company financial procedures and budgets
  • Extensive experience interpreting contract documents, scopes of work, and managing risks
  • Demonstrate elements of emotional intelligence including self-awareness, social awareness, self-management, and relationship management
  • Adept to manage through ambiguity and changing environments and demands
  • Applies business maturity to synthesize complex concepts and information
  • True collaborator, maintains balanced view of business and professionally challenges others providing candid and honest assessment
  • Leadership skills and management experience, ability to manage across regions, and coach and mentor others
  • Able to observe performance, identify areas of development, and effectively provide performance feedback
  • Highly influential with executive presentation delivery and negotiation skills
  • Regular travel
