Job Title: Project Controls Coordinator III

Location: 915 N. Eldridge Parkway, Suite 1100, Houston, TX

Duration: 12 months

Required Qualifications



  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, Construction Management, Engineering, Project Controls, or a related field; equivalent combinations of education and experience will be considered.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in project controls, cost controls, field controls, construction management, project accounting, or related disciplines.
  • Experience supporting large-scale capital projects or programs within oil and gas, pipeline, terminal, utility, energy, industrial, or infrastructure environments.
  • Strong understanding of project cost management, forecasting, accruals, commitments, earned value management, budgeting, and financial reporting.
  • Knowledge of contract administration, invoice validation, payment certification, and change management processes.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills with the ability to interpret large and complex datasets.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.


Technical Skills



  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills such as:

    • Pivot Tables
    • Power Query
    • XLOOKUP
    • Advanced formulas and reporting tools


  • Experience with:

    • Oracle Cloud
    • Copilot/ChatGpt/Claude
    • Oracle Projects
    • Power BI
    • Microsoft Office Suite
    • SharePoint
    • Microsoft Teams


  • Experience developing dashboards, financial reports, and automated reporting solutions is considered an asset.
  • Familiarity with project controls methodologies including:

    • Cost Management
    • Forecasting
    • Change Control
    • Earned Value Management/EAC
    • Risk Management
    • Project Performance Monitoring

Working Conditions



  • Standard office environment with periodic site visits and exposure to construction project environments.
  • Occasional travel may be required to support project execution activities.


Physical Requirements

Physical requirements may include sitting for extended periods, keyboarding, standing, walking, reaching, bending, kneeling, light to moderate lifting (up to 20 pounds), visual acuity for reviewing reports and data, and the ability to work on a computer for prolonged periods.
