What We Offer:
Position Overview The Senior Project Procurement Manager (SPPM) -- Energy will lead and manage all aspects of procurement execution for large power projects, from project handover to project closeout. The SPPM will develop and implement procurement strategies for the assigned project, to ensure equipment, subcontracts and materials are provided in accordance with project requirements. The SPPM will oversee all procurement activities at the project level, closely coordinating with Project Management, Legal, Quality, Engineering, Finance and others. The PPM will be responsible for supplier selection, negotiations and award; procurement reporting, and delivery of procured items. Senior Project Procurement Manager incumbents are expected to capable of managing procurement on projects of exceptional scope. Exceptional scope projects are generally defined as a project or group of projects greater than $50,000,000 in annual construction cost; or projects with $1M per month billing for at least 50 consecutive months; or projects with over 1,500,000 manhours or 150,000 manhours per month for at least 10 consecutive months.
Management Responsibilities Manages and directs a team supporting procurement activities; is responsible for the overall direction and management of these employees. Qualifications
