GENERAL JOB SUMMARY: We are seeking a Precision Technician specialized in the maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO) of Pratt & Whitney PT6 Series fuel nozzles. The role involves the complete "clean, test, and shroud" process to ensure proper fuel atomization and engine longevity in accordance with FAA and P&WC standards. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: Key Responsibilities Make sound, timely decisions using established procedures, general knowledge, and technical training. Properly operate, maintain, and care for all assigned tools, equipment, and inspection instruments. Complete all required documentation accurately and in accordance with work scope and regulatory specifications. Utilize inspection tools, gauges, micrometers, and interpret geometric tolerancing to ensure precise measurements. Perform all tasks in strict compliance with Component Maintenance Manuals (CMMs) and Engine Overhaul Manuals. Conduct precision rework, including microscopic inspection of orifice nibs and careful hand lapping of mating surfaces to achieve leak free results. Execute final assembly processes such as installing O rings and gaskets and performing correct safety/lock wiring for return to service readiness. Support the team by performing additional tasks as needed to meet operational requirements. SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY: This position does not have supervisory responsibilities.

Ability to understand, and follow instruction. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: High School Diploma or equivalent. Certification: FAA Airframe and/or Powerplant (A&P) or Repairman's Certificate highly preferred but not required. Experience: 0 to 2+ years of experience with PT6A, PT6B, or PT6C fuel nozzle maintenance. Tooling: Proficiency with vernier calipers, micrometers, and depth gauges. Compliance: Test IAW Pratt and Whitney O/H Manual. Knowledge: Understanding of "Hot Section" dynamics and Turbine Inlet Temperature (ITT) impacts. WORK ENVIRONMENT/PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Manufacturing/Shop Floor environment. Work Schedule: 4/10 shift Ability to stand and sit for long periods of time. Ability to perform repetitive motion (keyboarding, mouse, phones). Ability to lift up to 20 lbs.
