Responsibilities

Sabre Systems, LLC is seeking a dedicated Recruiting Specialist (BD & Capture) to join our Talent Acquisition team, focused primarily on supporting our Business Development (BD) organization. As a member of the recruiting team, this position plays a critical role in partnering with BD, Capture, and Program leadership to ensure Sabre is wellpositioned with the talent needed for upcoming pursuits, proposals, recompetes, and anticipated contract awards.

In this role, the Recruiting Specialist (BD & Capture) serves as the recruiting team's primary liaison to BD-translating pursuit needs into staffing strategies, building targeted pipelines, and ensuring proposal teams have strong, compliant candidates ready when opportunities arise. Key Responsibilities

Recruiting Support for BD & Capture

  • Serve as the recruiting team's main point of support for BD, Capture, and Program leaders to understand staffing needs tied to strategic pursuits and key personnel requirements.Participate in color team reviews and translate RFP staffing requirements into actionable recruiting plans.
  • Identify qualified candidates, secure LOIs, and prepare staffing documentation that strengthens proposal submissions.
  • Provide incumbent capture support, offering insight into talent availability, compensation trends, clearance constraints, and geographic considerations.

Strategic Pipeline Development & Market Insights

  • Build proactive talent pipelines aligned with anticipated contract needs and emerging BD priorities.
  • Conduct talent market research, competitor analysis, and mapping efforts to identify strong candidate pools.
  • Maintain accurate BD-related recruiting activity, pipelines, and candidate tracking within the ATS/CRM.

Full-Cycle Recruiting (Surge Support)

  • Manage full-cycle recruiting as needed-from intake through offer acceptance-and assist with surge recruiting for nonBD positions during peak hiring periods.
  • Develop targeted sourcing strategies and thoroughly screen candidates for required skills, clearance levels, and proposal alignment.
  • Build trust with candidates, hiring managers, and internal partners to ensure a positive, professional hiring experience.
  • Represent Sabre at job fairs, networking events, and industry meetups to expand candidate engagement and strengthen brand presence.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

  • At least three (3) years of recruiting experience supporting federal government contractors, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and closing candidates.
  • Direct experience supporting proposal recruiting and key personnel identification for federal bids.
  • Experience recruiting cleared and technical professionals (software engineers, cybersecurity specialists, systems engineers, data professionals, etc.).
  • Knowledge of federal contracting staffing requirements, including clearance levels, timelines, and contractual obligations.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities while staying responsive to rapidly changing proposal needs.
  • Proficiency with ATS and sourcing tools, including LinkedIn Recruiter and Indeed Sourcing.
  • Ability to travel 10-15% for hiring events and networking engagements.

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience developing staffing recommendations for capture teams, including identifying target companies, critical skill sets, talent pool risks, and fallback strategies.
  • Background developing early candidate relationships and maintaining engagement throughout capture, proposal, and award phases.
  • Familiarity with specialized talent communities including military transition programs, cleared networks, veteran organizations, and technical associations.
  • Experience using iCIMS for job management and workflow tracking.
  • SHRMCP, PHR, or related talent acquisition certifications.

Compensation Statement

At Sabre Systems, LLC, compensation is based on factors such as location, qualifications, experience, and contract-specific requirements; however, final compensation will be determined by individual qualifications and applicable contract terms. The general salary range for this position is as follows: $75,000.00 - $85,000.00
