Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED required
- At least five (5) years of experience with materials management.
- At least one (1) year of supervisory experience preferred.
- APICS certification preferred.
- Experience using the Syteline or equivalent MRP application.
- At least one year of experience in implementation of lean manufacturing, 5S implementation, demand flow technology (DFT), and/or Six Sigma environment preferred.
- Knowledge of LeanFlow and DFT (demand flow technology).
- Demonstrate initiative, flexibility and dependability.
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to report and recommend solutions to challenge.

Responsibilities
Summary: The Inventory Supervisor is responsible to coordinate the functions of inventory, logistics, product services, planning and procedures to ensures accurate and adequate flow of materials to support production schedules. In collaboration with multiple stakeholders, oversees critical and related inventory, distribution and transportation operations that support the goals of BI Incorporated. Coach, direct, and promote a culture of continuous improvement utilizing company principles. Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
- The Inventory Supervisor utilizes analytics to monitor and measure the design of existing and new manufacturing and business processes that span multiple areas of the organization, including Finance, Customer Business Services, Fulfillment, Product Development, Technology, Sales, Marketing, and Training.
- Leverages data to support processes and benefit of initiatives and goals.
- Coordinates with representatives to ensure field inventory is accurately reported and managed.
- The Inventory Supervisor contributes to deployment readiness program for technology rollouts, including communications, user acceptance testing, and training.
- Develops and defines methods and procedures for internal users to address deploying manufacturing technology and operational process changes.
- Establishes metrics and metrics baseline and ongoing collection process.
- The Inventory Supervisor establishes success metrics for process and establishes a plan to track, monitor, and measure the success of those metrics.
- Identifies problems in operations and coordinates with all stakeholders to implement solutions.
- The Inventory Supervisor runs analytics and reports to support leadership requests.
- Performs assessments of manufacturing inventory processes and documents each of the following areas: problem and/or need definitions, process flows, gap analysis, and solution recommendation.
- Develops scalable processes to improve operational efficiency.
- Takes part in ongoing improvement efforts, utilizing data to provide insights into current state processes.
- Monitors and meets all order accuracy requirements and expectations.
- Provides security and accountability of materials and goods with inventory control.
- Communicates with Management on inventory activities.
- Establishes metrics for process efficiency, quality and through put and inventory control. Provides reports to upper-level management on a regular basis.
- Manages daily inventory procedures and reporting to maximize productivity.
- Partner with department manager to hire, train, evaluate and develop teams.
- Ensure a cross-trained workforce is available for redeployment to alternate areas, as required, based on fluctuating business demands.
