Job Summary:

The Department of Otolaryngology - Head & Neck Surgery at the University of Colorado invites applications for the position of Cleft Clinic Pediatrician at the Instructor level in the Division of Pediatric Otolaryngology. The Cleft Clinic Pediatrician will practice in Colorado Springs, CO.

Examples of Work Performed:

1. The candidate for this position would provide comprehensive care to pediatric patients with cleft lip and palette conditions. Care would consist of new patient consultation and follow-up care in the multidisciplinary outpatient clinic at Briargate as well as telephone follow-up and triage. Clinician will function in collaboration with the Briargate Cleft Clinic team.

2. Participate in care conferences at part of the multidisciplinary Cleft Clinic team.

3. Complete patient encounter documentation within CHCO and CU Medicine guidelines and bill for all services provided via CU Medicine.

Work Location: This position is expected to work onsite in Colorado Springs, CO.

Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications:

Applicants must meet minimum qualifications at the time of hire.

  • CO state medical license

  • At least 2 years of prior experience as a pediatrician

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous experience working in a pediatric cleft multidisciplinary clinic

  • Proficiency working with Epic EMR system

Anticipated Pay Range:

The starting salary range (or hiring range) for this position has been established as HIRING RANGE:

Hourly rate of $115, commensurate with education, experience, and qualifications. This position is not eligible for overtime compensation.

The salary of the finalist(s) selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to, internal equity, experience, education, specialty and training.
