Nurse Practitioner, Gastroenterology | Optum Washington
Optum Washington (formerly The Everett Clinic) is seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner to join its Gastroenterology team serving patients in the Arlington/Everett, Washington market. - Independently manage and provide comprehensive outpatient Gastroenterology care to an established patient population.
- Evaluate, diagnose, and treat a broad range of gastrointestinal conditions.
- Partner closely with Gastroenterologists and fellow Nurse Practitioners in a team-based care model.
- Participate as a fully integrated member of the care team with active involvement in clinical decision-making.
- Practice in an outpatient-only setting with no inpatient responsibilities, procedures, or call requirements.
- Benefit from a robust onboarding program of up to six months alongside experienced team members.
- Following orientation, maintain a patient volume of approximately 14 to 16 patients per day.
Schedule & Flexibility
- Typical schedule of four 10-hour days per week.
- Full-time status is defined as 36 patient contact hours per week.
- After successful onboarding, providers may have the opportunity for one full day of virtual visits each week.

Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program.
- National Nurse Practitioner certification (AANP or ANCC).
- Unrestricted Washington State Nurse Practitioner license, or ability to obtain prior to start date.
- Active Washington State DEA license prior to start date. [
- Two or more years of experience practicing as a fully independent Nurse Practitioner.
Preferred Qualifications
- Gastroenterology experience preferred.
- Epic EMR experience preferred.
CompensationCompensation for this specialty generally ranges from $130,000 to $164,000 annually. Total cash compensation includes base pay and bonus and is based on several factors, including local labor markets, education, experience, productivity, and performance.
