Position Title: Forklift Operator

QPS Employment Group has a great opportunity available for a Forklift Operator at a company in Lake Bluff, IL. This is a potential to hire position for 1st shift. Apply now! Forklift Operator Responsibilities: - Operates Raymond reach truck and a Raymond counterbalance (dock stocker) - Completes full location warehouse cycle counts - Loads and unloads trailers - Uses manual pick ticket or RF device to pick orders for retail customers. - Physically moves goods from warehouse location to pallet or cart - Stretch wraps pallets by hand and applies corresponding labels to pallets - Moves pallets to staging lane using pallet jack - Performs all jobs in the distribution center as necessary under supervision of the Distribution Manager and Inbound and/or Outbound Processing Lead - Uses equipment in handling, storing, maintaining, and shipping stock such as pallet jacks, dollies and hand trucks - Fills orders, packs and ships material Requirements for Forklift Operator: - Ability to stand at a table without support for 3-4-hour increments; 8 hours in a workday - Ability to push/pull/lift 20 lbs - Strong attention to detail IND019 QPS Employment Group is a full-service staffing firm comprised of dedicated and passionate people with over 50 offices throughout the United States.
