Material Handler

Location: Newport Beach, CA

Pay: $23.00/hour

Schedule: Monday - Thursday, 6:00 AM - 4:30 PM, with overtime as needed

We are seeking dependable Material Handlers to join a busy warehouse and distribution operation in Newport Beach, CA. This temporary position supports increased inventory volume and order fulfillment demands. Ideal candidates thrive in a fast-paced environment, prioritize safety, and can maintain accuracy while meeting productivity goals.

Job Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and process inbound shipments
• Store and organize inventory in designated warehouse locations
• Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders with accuracy
• Maintain inventory control and warehouse organization
• Follow established safety procedures and operational guidelines
• Assist with shipping, receiving, and general warehouse functions as needed

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Previous warehouse, distribution, shipping, receiving, or inventory experience preferred
• Experience with SAP or other warehouse management systems is a plus
• Basic computer skills preferred
• OSHA Forklift and/or HAZMAT certification is a plus
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow directions

Physical Requirements

• Lift and move up to 50 pounds safely
• Perform repetitive movements using hands and feet
• Stand, walk, bend, and move throughout the shift
• Work efficiently under deadlines and changing priorities
• Maintain dependable attendance and strong work habits
