Digital & IT Technical Spec 2 - Private Cloud

Position Summary

The role will focus on providing solution architecture across IT infrastructure operations, aligning with all teams within the department (Private Cloud / Directory Services / Backup & Recovery / DR Coordination). Collaborating with other IT infrastructure teams and divisional IT functions to provide guidance and standards for relevant solutions. There is a focus on forming and delivering strategies to enable capabilities and meet business goals.

Responsibilities

• Technical Expertise: Proficient in solution design with a strong understanding of technical architecture and system analysis across multiple domains.
• Technology Background: Proven experience in technology roles, supported by relevant academic qualifications and hands-on experience.
• Communication Skills: Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities, with a knack for translating complex technical concepts into clear, business-friendly language.

• Flexible and able to adapt to a rapidly changing global environment.
• Collaboration and influencing skills working effectively with IT and non-IT stakeholders.
• Proven IT analytical and troubleshooting skills along with attention to detail.
• Experience of development lifecycle and of formal approaches to development (Agile, MSF), project management (Prince II, PMP) and service management (ITIL).
• TOGAF certified or with significant architecture experience at a strategic level.
• Bachelor's degree in IT/computer science (or related area) required.
• Significant experience within the Information Technology industry required -10+

• Enthusiasm about driving IT transformation.
