Now Hiring for a: Maintenance Technician Pay: $28.00-$35.00/hr (based on experience) Schedule: 1st Shift, Monday-Friday, 6:00 AM-2:30 PM Direct Hire Education Requirements High school diploma or GED required. Valid driver's license required. Technical training in industrial maintenance, electrical systems, mechanical systems, manufacturing, or a related field preferred. Ability to read wiring diagrams, equipment manuals, and technical documentation. Experience Requirements Minimum 3 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing or metal fabrication environment. Experience troubleshooting and repairing mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, air, and water systems. Hands-on experience performing preventative maintenance (PMs) on production and fabrication equipment. Experience maintaining laser cutters, press brakes, spot welders, welders, powder coating systems, CNC machinery, and other manufacturing equipment preferred. Ability to complete machine setups, process improvements, and equipment efficiency projects. Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Experience coordinating with vendors, contractors, and outside service providers. Physical Capabilities Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. without assistance. Frequent standing, walking, bending, kneeling, reaching, and lifting throughout the workday. Ability to work in a manufacturing environment around machinery and industrial equipment. Must be available for overtime, schedule changes, and occasional travel as needed to support equipment maintenance and repairs. Ability to perform physically demanding maintenance tasks safely and efficiently. Job Duties Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on manufacturing and metal fabrication equipment. Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, air, and water systems. Set up and maintain production equipment, including lasers, press brakes, welders, CNC machines, and powder coating systems. Diagnose equipment issues using wiring diagrams, technical manuals, and troubleshooting procedures. Complete machine modifications and continuous improvement projects to increase efficiency and productivity. Coordinate maintenance activities with production teams to minimize downtime. Manage vendor relationships and schedule outside service support when required. Maintain accurate maintenance records, service logs, and repair documentation. Follow all company safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work environment. Support production operations and perform additional duties as needed.
