Production Planner

Location: West Memphis, AR

Job Type: Full-Time (Direct Hire)

Shift: Monday - Friday (Schedule may vary based on business needs)

Pay: $23.78/hr

We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Warehouse Production Planner to coordinate production schedules, optimize workflow, and ensure materials and labor resources are efficiently utilized to meet customer demands. The ideal candidate will work closely with warehouse operations, inventory control, customer service, and leadership teams to maintain production efficiency and achieve operational goals.

• Develop, maintain, and adjust daily and weekly production schedules based on customer orders, inventory levels, and staffing availability.
• Coordinate with warehouse leadership to ensure production targets and deadlines are met.
• Monitor inventory levels and collaborate with purchasing and inventory teams to ensure material availability.
• Analyze production data and identify opportunities to improve efficiency, reduce delays, and minimize waste.
• Communicate schedule changes and production updates to applicable departments.
• Track production performance and prepare reports on output, productivity, and operational metrics.
• Investigate production issues and recommend corrective actions to prevent disruptions.
• Maintain accurate planning records within warehouse management and ERP systems.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and process optimization efforts.
• Ensure compliance with company safety policies and operational procedures.

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in production planning, warehouse operations, logistics, or supply chain management.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data analysis.
• Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and/or ERP systems.

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business, or related field.
• Experience in a manufacturing, distribution, or high-volume warehouse environment.
• Knowledge of inventory management and forecasting principles.

• Ability to work in a warehouse environment with varying temperatures.
• Ability to walk, stand, and sit for extended periods.
• Occasional lifting of up to 25 pounds may be required.
