JOB SUMMARY The primary responsibilities of the Financial Analyst are to help coordinate the overall company budget process to produce a comprehensive operating budget by business unit, as well as to produce financial reports, analyses, and decision support models that aid management in analyzing and interpreting trends, profit and support center performance, and the economic benefit of financial commitments and obligations incurred by the company. Additional responsibilities include reviewing market and competitor data and producing relevant analyses and decision support models that aid management in the interpretation of trends, pricing performance, and the economic benefit of investments made in building customer relationships. Candidates must have a solid understanding of financial management concepts and business performance evaluation methods, as well as an understanding of data structures and technology tools available to extract and analyze relevant data efficiently. Effective communication of analysis through executive-level presentations is essential, as are interpersonal skills, the ability to influence, and the proven ability to partner with and build productive working relationships with key personnel across the business. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES * Participate in the development of the company's annual and mid-year budgets (both capital and operating budgets). * Implement, monitor, and evaluate budget policies and procedures, and make recommendations for improvements as necessary. * Able to partner with and work effectively at all levels of the organization and within all areas of the company. * Construct models to identify sales leads and revenue-generating opportunities. * Support the development of targeted pricing strategy for customer segments. * Develop analytical acumen using a variety of tools such as SQL, Tableau, Smartsheet, MS Office, and Salesforce, while working on a variety of projects to enhance marketing efforts and pricing strategy. Distill key business insights from large data sets generated using these tools. * Partner and work effectively with all levels of the organization and within all departments across the company. * Continually seek out opportunities to improve reporting and gain operational efficiencies to reduce wasted effort and associated costs. BASIC QUALIFICATIONS Education and Experience * Bachelor's degree in finance or related experience (accounting, industrial engineering). * 0-3 years of financial analysis and budgeting experience Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities * Self-starter with flexibility and willingness to balance multiple, competing priorities * Acts with integrity and understands how to hold confidence and protect confidential information. PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS * Experience using Blackline account reconciliation software. WORKING CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL EFFORTS * Office Environment: This position is primarily based in an office setting equipped with modern technology and communication tools. * On-Site Visits: Occasional visits to service locations, client sites, or company facilities may be required to gain firsthand operational insights and better understand customer needs.
