SLSCO is looking for a Contracts Administrator to join our Northeast Division based in New York City. SLSCO Northeast and its regional affiliates provide the full spectrum of design-build, infrastructure, disaster response, and health facility services. As a leader in the construction industry, SLSCO Northeast serves all levels and sectors of government and private industry.

The Contracts Administrator will report to the Legal department will be responsible for managing and supporting the administration of construction and professional services contracts and subcontracts.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Perform all contract administration duties for awarded projects, including ensuring procedural compliance, issuing notices and liaising with clients and subcontractors as necessary to ensure adherence to client and regulatory requirements.
  • Work and support with assigned project teams and our central office through the contract award process and post-award requirement submission process.
  • Review and quality check subcontracts prior to issuance; issue notices of award and support project managers with subcontractor onboarding.
  • Represent SLSCO Northeast and affiliates with clients to ensure all required documentation, reporting and other requirements are submitted in accordance with client deadlines and regulations.
  • Maintain contract files of active and past projects and maintain contract and project data . (ex. project name, client, period of performance, awarded amount, final amount, history of modifications, performance ratings, etc.).
  • Support licensing and other business registration as needed in furtherance of contract implementation.
  • Attend events and meetings, as required.
  • Continuously explore best practices and new innovative ways to support contract administration.
  • Support leadership with various daily task execution and contract management tasks, as required
  • Must work full-time in the NYC Office.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will have demonstrated experience as follows:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in contract administration.
  • Must have experience in administration of complex, multi-million-dollar contracts.
  • Experience with public works contracts on behalf of the government or private clients is preferred.
  • Familiarity with regulatory requirements for public contracts in New York City and New York State is a plus.
  • Must have excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Must have excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Must have experience in SharePoint administration and file management
  • Experience with CLM software is preferred.
