This position is eligible for Paid Sick and Safe Time (PSST) under the Healthy Families and Workplaces Act. All employees may also make pre-tax or post-tax (Roth) contributions to our retirement plan - must be 18 years of age to participate.

Location: Aurora, Denver, and Wheat Ridge area job sites
Season: October 1, 2026 - March 31, 2027
Pay: $20.00 per hour
Schedule: On-call/as-needed during snow events, with shifts typically starting around 5:00 AM (some as early as 1:00 AM). Minimum 8 hours of pay per day when dispatched.

As a Snow Shoveler, you'll help keep driveways, sidewalks, walkways, and parking lots safe and accessible during winter weather. Your work plays an important role in helping communities, businesses, and residents navigate snowy conditions safely.

In this hands-on outdoor role, you'll remove snow and ice using hand shovels, snow blowers, or other snow removal equipment. You'll also apply salt and de-icing materials to help prevent slippery conditions and ensure safe passage for pedestrians and vehicles.

No two snow events are the same, making this a great opportunity for dependable individuals who enjoy physical work, working outdoors, and being part of a team. Previous snow removal experience is helpful but not required. A positive attitude, reliability, and strong work ethic are what matter most!

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Responsibilities:



  • Shovel snow from sidewalks, walkways, entrances, and stairs
  • Apply ice melt and de-icing materials
  • Maintain safe conditions during winter weather
  • Follow safety procedures and communicate with supervisors

  • Ability to perform physically demanding work outdoors
  • Lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Reliable transportation and attendance
  • Strong work ethic and positive attitude
  • Snow removal experience is a plus, but not required
