Injection Molding Team Lead - 3rd shift

Primary Responsibilities and Duties

* Ensures all safety procedures are followed and actively works to improve our safety program.

* Ensures all quality procedures are followed and actively works to improve our quality program.

* Follows all procedures & work instructions.

* Works to maintain a clean & organized working environment (5s).

* Completes visual inspection on products through the shift.

* Trains, coaches, and support the mold techs to ensure SMED is being utilized.

* Schedule and maintain production and visual management boards for the molding department.

* Address molding barriers promptly.

* Works directly with other departments within the plant.

* Encourages continuous improvement of culture.

* Identify and address non-conforming products.

* Responsible for clear and consistent communication between shifts

* Assisting in modification of existing procedures

* Creation of new standardized work procedures

* Encourages and promotes a positive work environment.

* Performs any other tasks required to ensure the Company goals are met as directed.

* Knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within the injection molding field
* Strong attention to detail
* Ability to prioritize and follow-up on tasks with timely completion.
* Communicates effectively.
* Works well within a Team environment.
* Experience working in a fast-paced environment with limited supervision.
