Responsibilities

Interns will participate in corporate accounting functions within the general ledger and accounts payables group and learn accounting policies and procedures. The successful candidate will gain basic knowledge of the construction industry, general ledger, and financial reporting.


Qualifications

EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION
- Currently enrolled in an Accounting, Finance, Business, or similar degree program
- Prior exposure to construction industry is a plus
- Or equivalent combination of education and experience
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong sense of ownership and ability to drive for results
- Knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word

Salary to be determined based on factors such as geographic location, skills, education, and/or experience of the applicant, as well as the internal equity and alignment with the team.
For Rhode Island, this ranges from $24.00 to $27.00 per hour.
