What you will enjoy doing*
- Lead and coordinate the preparation of quarterly and annual SEC filings, including footnotes to the financial statements, MD&A and overseeing XBRL tagging requirements
- Drive continuous improvement and increase efficiency of the reporting process by leveraging process mapping/engineering and automation to decrease time and effort required to report
- Support the quarterly earnings release process including the preparation of earnings release financial tables and review of press release, earnings presentation and related financial data prepared by investor relations
- Stay current on emerging reporting from regulatory bodies (SEC, FASB, other) and coordinate with technical accounting team for disclosure implications of new accounting guidance
- Lead cross-functional projects related to or impacting the reporting workstream including ESG reporting, benchmarking and new standard deployment
- Identify and deploy best practices and technology while maintaining an effective SOX controls environment
What makes you great
- You
have a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting. CPA and/or MBA strongly preferred - Minimum
5 years of experience in public accounting or combination of public and private industry experience in SEC reporting required - Highly
analytical and intellectually curious with strong process improvement mindset - Experience
managing complex project timelines with a high degree of personal time management skills - Advanced
knowledge of Excel and experience with Workiva, Hyperion and/or SAP - Excellent
communication and intrapersonal skills

Please note this position requires you to work on-site full-time at our Danbury, CT headquarters.
