Social Worker
Job Summary The Himan Brown Program is a vibrant community of approximately 650 older adults that fosters intellectual, physical, and spiritual well-being through lifelong learning, wellness, and meaningful engagement. The Social Worker supports many aspects of the program and its members, working collaboratively with the Director of the Himan Brown Program and program staff to promote member well-being, strengthen community connections, and enhance the overall member experience. This position provides psychosocial support, care coordination, and resource navigation; helps welcome and engage new members; develops educational and support programming; supervises social work interns; and collaborates on initiatives that promote healthy aging, reduce social isolation, and expand services for older adults. Job Responsibilities Include
Provide supportive counseling, advocacy, information, and referrals for members.
Experience, Education, & Skills Desired
Work Environment & Requirements 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday. 9:00am - 6:00pm with a 1-hour unpaid meal break.
