WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW (Job Overview): The American Red Cross is seeking a highly motivated Senior Business Development Lead to drive growth within our expanding Clinical Apheresis Services (CAS) business. This individual will play a critical role in developing strategic partnerships with hospitals, transplant centers, cancer programs, physicians, and healthcare systems seeking high-quality therapeutic and collection-based apheresis services. This position is ideal for a business development professional or clinical subject matter expert with established healthcare relationships, experience working within hospital environments, and a passion for improving patient access through innovative clinical services. This role is well suited for individuals with scientific, clinical, operational, nursing, blood banking, transfusion medicine, or healthcare administration experience who are interested in expanding into a business development role. As a key member of the Business Development team, you will identify, develop, and close opportunities across the Clinical Apheresis Services portfolio, including Therapeutic Apheresis (THAP), Peripheral Blood Stem Cell Collections (STEM), Photopheresis (PACS), Red Cell Exchange, and related patient care services. This position is responsible for business development across the Western and Central United States. The final territory will be determined but is expected to include the West Coast through the central U.S., excluding the Northeast and Southern regions. Pay Information: The salary range for this position is $91,000.00 - $129,000.00/ annually, plus incentives. Note that American Red Cross salaries are aligned to the specific geograph,ic location in which the work is primarily performed. Other factors that may be used to determine your actual salary may include your specific skills, how many years of experience you have and comparison to other employees already in this role.
