Responsibilities We currently have a great opportunity available for a Director, Scientific Affairs - Hemostasis. The Director, Scientific Affairs leads the scientific strategy for hemostasis/coagulation, translating evidence into portfolio, commercialization, and stakeholder-engagement priorities. The role aligns Marketing, Sales, Training and Development, Regulatory, Quality, Global R&D, and Business Development around an integrated Scientific Affairs plan. Externally, the Director builds trusted relationships with international, national, and regional clinical experts, pathologists, laboratorians, and professional and patient associations. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: 1. Build and nurture strong scientific relationships with international, national, and regional clinical experts and professional and patient associations Percentage of Travel: Up to 30% Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Science required. MD, PhD, or other healthcare professional /advanced scientific degree strongly preferred.
This job requires satisfaction of the credentialing requirements of Sysmex's customers, including hospitals and other healthcare facilities, which generally includes proof of current vaccinations for measles, mumps, rubella, varicella (chicken pox), and COVID-19. The salary range for this role is $190,000-$252,000. Within this range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. The total compensation package for this position also includes a choice of health care plan (medical, vision, and dental insurance), an annual incentive bonus, ( paid time off, parental leave, bereavement leave and a 401(K) for all eligible employees.
