JOB TITLE: Senior Oracle Developer/Administrator - Top Secret Required

GOVERNMENT AGENCY: DOJ NSD - National Security Division

POSITION INFORMATION: Full-Time Position; Government contractor supporting DOJ NSD

LOCATION: Washington, DC (onsite)

POSITION TIMING: Position requires candidate to obtain SCI prior to starting; can take 2-4+ weeks to process

The mission of the National Security Division (NSD) is to carry out the Department's highest priority: to combat terrorism and other threats to national security. The Infrastructure Support and Software Development Services division provides all IT services necessary to support the NSD's Infrastructure & Operations as well as Software Development, Engineering, and Service Desk.

This individual develops and maintains Oracle databases and applications using Oracle development tools. He/she prepares and delivers written and oral communications, implements methods and procedures for stable configuration and control of application updates and changes, and develops training materials and provides training to the user community (attorneys, paralegals, and support staff).



Responsibilities

    Develop and maintain Oracle databases and applications using Oracle development tools; implement, integrate, and administer Oracle databases in support of mission applications.
  • Code stored procedures and triggers using advanced PL/SQL techniques; build and maintain applications in Oracle Application Express (APEX); use Oracle productivity tools such as TOAD.
  • Implement methods and procedures for stable configuration and control of application updates and changes; prepare and deliver written and oral communications; develop training materials and provide training to the user community (attorneys, paralegals, and support staff).


Qualifications

REQUIRED:

  • 5+ years of Oracle development and administration experience
  • Demonstrated professional experience with: implementing, integrating, and administering Oracle databases; development of Oracle applications; use of Oracle productivity tools such as TOAD; advanced knowledge of PL/SQL and coding techniques to code stored procedures and triggers; advanced knowledge with Oracle Application Express (APEX).

DESIRED:

  • Desired Experience: Administration of Oracle database server backbone infrastructure and operating system (OS).

SECURITY CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS:

  • Active Top Secret

The anticipated salary range for this position is $115,000 to $125,000, representing the range ITC Federal reasonably expects to pay depending on these factors.
