Job Description General SummaryThe Supply Chain Specialist independently performs a broad range of activities supporting Vertex's Cell and Gene Therapy Supply Chain. This role is responsible for executing well-defined operational tasks and supporting projects of increasing complexity under limited supervision. Key responsibilities include managing turnaround times, tracking patient and batch-related milestones, monitoring deliverables, and ensuring patient supplies progress through each stage of the supply chain according to established processes. The Specialist collaborates closely with cross-functional partners including Finance, Regulatory, Commercial, Logistics, Quality Assurance (QA), Manufacturing Sciences and Technology (MSAT), Manufacturing, and other stakeholders. Pay Range: $74,400 - $111,600Disclosure Statement: The range provided is based on what we believe is a reasonable estimate for the base salary pay range for this job at the time of posting. This role is eligible for an annual bonus and annual equity awards. Some roles may also be eligible for overtime pay, in accordance with federal and state requirements. Actual base salary pay will be based on a number of factors, including skills, competencies, experience, and other job-related factors permitted by law.
