Salary Statement

Estimated Starting Salary Range: USD $76,350.00/Yr. - USD $127,250.00/Yr. Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.


Description

    Developing, evaluating, and validating complex electrical, mechanical, and communication systems
  • Reviewing build-to-print technical data, assessing system feasibility, supporting prototype and First Article Test activities, identifying risks, and contributing to reverse engineering efforts to capture critical performance and material characteristics

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or an engineering discipline, qualifying engineering disciplines include computer, electrical, electronics, mechanical, information systems, or engineering technology, no allowable degree substitutions
  • Demonstrated experience applying engineering techniques, principles, and precedents to plan, develop, design, modify, install, test, validate, or operate electrical, electronic, RF, avionics, vehicular, mechanical, communication platforms, and associated support equipment or components
  • Demonstrated experience reviewing and verifying that drawing packages from diverse sources are considered build-to-print IAW DoD and/or customer-specific standard practices
  • Demonstrated experience identifying the engineering processes and techniques required successfully complete product development and manufacturing
  • Demonstrated experience reviewing requirements to evaluate the feasibility of proposed systems, subsystems, and equipment layouts and specification parameters
  • Demonstrated experience evaluating proposed layout capabilities to meet technical, functional, mission, and operational performance requirements and assist with identifying potential risk areas and by recommending alternative solutions
  • Demonstrated experience assisting with the reverse engineering of systems or components to produce data including material properties, functional performance characteristics, loads, discrete signals, and power distributions


Desired Skills

  • One or more years of providing mechanical engineering services that supported development, modification, and/or installation of C5ISR equipment into air platforms and/or ground mobile communications


Clearance Information

SRC IS A CONTRACTOR FOR THE U.S. GOVERNMENT, THIS POSITION WILL REQUIRE U.S. CITIZENSHIP AS WELL AS, A U.S. GOVERNMENT SECURITY CLEARANCE AT THE TOP SECRET LEVEL
