About This Role

The Admissions Evaluator supports Graduate School admissions operations through transcript management, applicant identity verification, admissions systems maintenance, records imaging, and application processing support. This position is responsible for maintaining accurate applicant records, ensuring the timely receipt and processing of academic documents, managing fraud and identity verification workflows, and supporting the integrity of graduate admissions data. The position serves as a key operational resource for applicants, faculty, staff, and academic departments while ensuring compliance with university policies and procedures.

Worksite Description

This position is On-site.

All employees must reside in the United States when they begin working to comply with state law. K-State is unable to provide remote or hybrid work opportunities for residents of the state of Idaho.


What You'll Need to Succeed

Minimum Qualifications:



  • Requires a high school diploma (or equivalent) and two years of relevant experience. Requirements may be met through a combination of education and experience.


Preferred Qualifications:



  • Demonstrated proficiency in typing, computer applications, and standard office technology.
  • Strong decision-making, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including knowledge of standard English grammar, spelling, and business correspondence.
  • Effective interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate professionally with faculty, students, staff, administrators, and the public.
  • Two years of experience in office support, administrative operations, higher education, or a related environment.
  • Experience using computer applications, office equipment, and standard office procedures and practices.
  • Basic understanding of higher education environments, including academic calendars and the cyclical nature of the academic year.
  • Experience with university systems: Slate, KSIS, MS Outlook

Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. on an ongoing basis without sponsorship
