Project Manager (Transportation) (Part-time)

The Transportation Project Manager is responsible for the execution and administration of our Transportation Management System. The employee will perform data analysis and clean-up of records, where applicable, ensuring data is accurate and flowing correctly within system. The employee is also responsible for preparing scopes of work, to include general specifications and technical specifications suitable for system improvements.

Roles and Responsibilities

The following information is intended to describe the overall nature and scope of the work being performed. This is not a comprehensive listing of all responsibilities or tasks; work may differ and other work may be assigned when deemed appropriate.

• Maintains transportation management system, creating, managing and auditing multiple data sources
• Provides assistance in identifying and tracking data, and cleaning up duplicate entries
• Imports daily transaction file and monitors flow of data, failures, errors and accuracy
• Reviews requests for system enhancements, and prepares reports and forms as needed
• Oversees transition of data sources, including coordination of data files, cleaning up old data, reviewing new data and seeing source through to each new effective date

Qualifications

Below are the minimum qualifications for this job. Equivalent combinations of education and experience are also acceptable.

Education

Associate's Degree in information technology or technical project management preferred

Experience

Five (5) years of project management experience

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

• Knowledge of data management systems; ability to document, investigate, troubleshoot and work with vendors to correct time sensitive issues
• Must be skilled and proficient in the use of standard office computer software systems and have a working knowledge of and/or experience using computerized maintenance management systems.
• Good human relations and communication skills
