The Mental Health Therapist

• Conducts initial psychosocial assessments to determine patient needs and appropriate treatment approaches.
• Provides individual, family, and group therapy to patients.
• Develops and maintains therapeutic relationships with patients across care settings.
• Collaborates with multidisciplinary teams, families, referral sources, and aftercare providers to coordinate patient treatment and discharge planning.
• Develops and implements individualized treatment plans based on patient needs.
• Maintains accurate and timely documentation, including assessments, progress notes, and discharge plans.
• Participates in interdisciplinary team meetings and contributes to care planning and patient progress discussions.
• Coordinates coverage and collaborates with team members to ensure continuity of care.
• Participates in continuing education and maintains licensure requirements.

Education: Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, or a related field required.

Experience: Minimum 1 year of related clinical experience required.

Licensure, Certification, and/or Registration: Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or equivalent licensure required or eligibility to obtain.

Life Support: None.

Other Minimum Qualifications: Strong interpersonal, communication, and teamwork skills. Ability to establish therapeutic relationships and work effectively in a multidisciplinary environment.

Compensation Range:

Employee pay is based on a variety of factors, including qualifications, credentials, education, and prior work experience. The compensation range does not include benefits or pension plan.
