Summary

Under the leadership and general direction of the Engineering Business Operations Manager, Facilities Management, MaineHealth, the Engineering Coordinator provides operational support to engineering departments across all of MaineHealth and maintains standardization for the Computerized Work Order systems in conjunction with the Engineering Applications Specialist. This role provides support with service contracts, invoicing, purchasing, and accounts payable. Additionally, the Engineering Coordinator is responsible for maintaining regulatory compliance documentation.

The successful candidate will bring experience supporting facilities, engineering, maintenance, construction, or related operational teams, ideally within a multi-site organization. This role is well suited for an individual who is energized by collaborating across departments, learning and improving business processes, and becoming a subject matter resource for key engineering and business systems. The ideal candidate combines strong analytical and process-oriented thinking with excellent communication, organization, and relationship-building skills. Experience working with Enterprise Application Software (EAS), computerized maintenance management systems, purchasing processes, invoices, or accounts payable is highly valued

Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)

  1. Education: High school diploma required; trade school certification, data analytics/computer science degree, or similar education preferred.
  2. License/Certifications: A valid driver's license is required.
  3. Experience: Minimum of two years' experience in a healthcare facility, maintenance or construction environment.
  4. Additional Skills/Requirements Required: Must complete training to become proficient as a super-user for engineering programs, including but not limited to the current Computerized Maintenance Management System within 3 months of hire.
  5. Additional Skills/Requirements Preferred: Proficient in Microsoft applications such as Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and advanced Excel skills using macros and dashboard functionality.Experience with Enterprise Application Software (EAS).

The pay range for this position is $23.38to $31.63 per hour.

Compensation for part-time positions isdeterminedon a prorated basis consistent with the scheduled hours and applicable full-time equivalent (FTE).
