Job Description

Shift: Morning
Pay Rate: $29.90 to $32.90



Position Summary:
* Troubleshoots and repairs facilities building and machinery electrical systems, mechanical systems and electronic components.



Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
* Perform equipment preventative maintenance activities in support of facilities equipment (cooling towers, air compressors, HVAC, industrial chillers, water treatment, core cutting, docks, doors, lighting, plumbing, etc.)
* Troubleshoot machines and equipment breakdowns to diagnose mechanical, electrical and electronic problems.
* Disassemble and reassemble machines assemblies and sub-assemblies to perform repairs
* Replace broken or defective machine and equipment parts
* Replace faulty electrical components such as relays, switches, motors and position sensing devices.
* Diagnose, repair and replace faulty electronic components such drives and PLCs
* Back fill for steam plant operations, distillation operations and Die Shop to insure continuous operations
* Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Education:
* Associates Degree in Mechatronics, Electronics Engineering Technology, Industrial Electronics or Mechanical Engineering Technology preferred. Relevant military training may be considered in lieu of a degree in Mechanical or Electronics Technology. Relevant work experience may be considered in lieu of education.



Requirements:
* 2-4 years industrial maintenance experience within a manufacturing environment preferred
