To provide direct therapeutic and diagnostic counseling and/or education to students experiencing social, emotional, and/or academic concerns. The role also supports the
CAPS team's prevention and intervention efforts, serves on appropriate university committees, and completes other duties as assigned by the Director of Counseling and Psychological Services.
This is a 11-month position.

| Job Description |
The position is responsible for providing therapeutic and diagnostic counseling and/or education to students experiencing social, emotional, and academic concerns related to mental health, administering and interpreting assessment instruments for the diagnosis of mental illness, and supporting the
CAPS team's prevention and intervention work through direct clinical services, outreach to the university community, and participation in Student Affairs events and committees. To complete other duties as assigned by the Director of the Counseling and Psychological Services.
This is a 11-month position.
Mandatory Personnel: this position's presence has been determined to be mandatory to University operations during certain types of adverse weather or emergency events.
